Foremost in the design of my homes are the traditional elements ....
- Vigas - the round logs that I use in different patterns for the ceilings of the important rooms.
- Kiva fireplaces - Usually out of authentic earthen adobe
bricks, sculpted then hand plastered by the same maestro I have used for nearly 20 years.
- Saltillo tile floors - Hand-made Mexican tile, world renowned, and a blend of multi-hued clays, then sealed to a beautiful, brilliant hue.
- Pine & maple cabinets - European hinges; quality local construction & designed for your home.
- Round rooms, curvilinear walls, massive view windows . . . copied by many builders, but not to the degree of aesthetics that we have learned.
- Locally made wood doors & moulding that rounds out the look that is of New Mexico.
- Hand painted tile & sinks, tile, marble or granite countertops & floors ... whatever your desire.
- Ultra-dramatic lighting & architectural elements that are at the same time exciting & functional.
- Handmade lighting from a potter in Santa Fe and from Mexico.
